Optimization Analyst

Optimization Analysts are primarily involved at the beginning and ending of the project or campaign. They are experts in the fields of marketing consultation and strategy. These individuals design the test plans, set the parameters, oversee the creative elements, and analyze the data while the campaign is optimizing. They are primarily client-facing, and often take on the de facto roles of project manager or account manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Create test plans and recipe testing matrices
  • Provide recommendations on copy, images, layouts, and offers to test as part of the optimization process
  • Analyze multivariate testing data and provide recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Strong online marketing or analytics experience
  • Strong quantitative skills (familiarity with statistical analysis is useful)
  • Experience with landing page design, SEM, or SEO
  • Bonus: Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
