Business Development Manager
Summary
Widemile is a rapidly growing Digital Content Optimization company where leading technology and services deliver superior online conversion results. The Widemile Optimization Platform enables marketing agencies and large corporations to increase the conversion rates produced by their online marketing content to maximize revenue and profits. Our offices are located in downtown Seattle overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.
Widemile is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to manage the company's strategic business development initiatives with interactive agency partners and strategic direct accounts. The position is focused on recruiting new agency channel partners and enabling these partners via delivering sales training and support to deliver Widemile powered optimization services to their clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage complete business development engagement and sales process
- Develops and maintains senior–level relationships within target accounts
- Sales/business plan development and execution to hit/exceed target
- Develop and manage a monthly forecast including weekly deal life cycle status updates
- Contribute and lead development of new sales tools and presentations
- Assess market opportunities to determine customer needs and share insight with management
- Ensure broadest adoption and utilization of the Widemile optimization platform within signed agency partners
- Assess, pitch, and close new agency partner relationships as required
- Joint positioning of solution with agency partners – acting as a player coach
- Additional work will be required as we're a start up
Required Skills
- 5+ years successful sales and/or business development track record in meeting or exceeding assigned individual targets
- Relevant sales experience in the last two years in ASP, eBusiness, or CRM software
- Must have previous experience selling and or marketing software; Software as a Service/ASP solution sales experience strongly preferred
- Experience selling consulting, implementation, and training services
- Excellent oral and written communications skills including strong presentation/demo skills both in person and via phone/web presentation
- Strong technology skills; must be able to do complete product demonstration and credibly discuss technical topics
- Experience in working with a channel model
- Graduated from a top–tier university
