Product Marketing Manager
Summary
Widemile is a rapidly growing Digital Content Optimization company where leading technology and services deliver superior online conversion results. The Widemile Optimization Platform enables marketing agencies and large corporations to increase the conversion rates produced by their online marketing content to maximize revenue and profits. Our offices are located in downtown Seattle overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.
Widemile is currently seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead the company's product marketing efforts. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for all aspects of product marketing, including go–to–market strategy and execution, thought leadership activities, launches, pricing, positioning, analyst relations, market needs and competitive positioning. This role will also include responsibility to support the business development and direct account sales teams to drive the successful adoption of Widemile solution as well as support the Widemile partner community as required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all product marketing efforts for the partner development channel (serving mostly interactive agencies)
- Develop and manage delivery of go–to–market collateral, ROI calculators, sales presentations, competitive intelligence information, and whitepapers to enable partner organizations success with customers
- Help develop product pricing and packaging strategies that position the company's products competitively, to derive the full value of our products and solutions
- Create sales and marketing collateral for use by the field, partners, and customers/prospects
- Conduct competitive analysis and develop competitive positioning for the product line
- Get input from market, working closely with key clients, agencies, and Widemile channel team
- Work closely with senior management team to drive product strategy
- Become a key spokesperson for products
- Interface directly with client companies on marketing issues
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in product marketing within the software or SaaS (software as a service) industry
- Operational and execution experience, leading cross–functional teams
- Strong customer–orientation, deliver solutions/solve the customer's problems
- Clear understanding of the online marketing landscape: web analytics, online advertising, Web 2.0, search engine marketing, social networking, and more
- Understanding of marketing, especially enterprise software product and channel marketing
- Excellent oral and written communications skills including strong presentation/demo skills both in person and via phone/web presentation
- Requires the ability to write clear and effective documents that translate technical information into understandable product material
- “Gets” Web 2.0 and how to leverage the power of Web 2.0 solutions in product marketing
- Passion for and experience in working at an early stage software company
- Graduated from a top–tier university
